AmeriCare wage increase for EMTs
APRIL 2005
EMTs for AmeriCare Ambulance will now be at the top of the pay scales in Southern California. Significant improvements in our billing services and EMTs improvement in completing run reports have played a vital role in making this possible.
With the ever-growing saturation of ambulance services AmeriCare continues to strive to be the best. We intend to only employee top EMT’s, who are able to dedicate them to the company, fulfill our rigid training requirements and represent the company with pride and joy. This wage increase will significantly contribute to making this a reality and ensure that our customers and patients receive not only the best care but also the highest degree of compassion and courtesy.
Experienced EMTs can make in excess of $9.00 - $10.00 per hour for 24-hour shift/full-time status.
Some areas of employee wage improvements are seen in Uniform/Equipment Pay, Per Diem Wages, and an extensive Full-Time Benefit package which includes holidays, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vacation, and Sick Pay.
With the addition of more managed care contracts, paramedic (ALS) Services, becoming a Continuing Education Provider and EMT Skills Re-certification Testing Center, AmeriCare continues to see positive growth in volume, opportunities, and professionalism. |
