New San Diego Regional Offices
Located in the new 4S Ranch
Community of San Diego, near Rancho Bernardo, AmeriCare has recently moved into
it's new centrally located Regional Headquarters where San Diego County
Operations, Communications, Maintenance and Training are housed.

AmeriCare Ambulance’s
fleet has
now gone to 100% Stryker Rugged
X-frame gurneys. In an effort to improve training standards and reduce patient
incidents, AmeriCare is in the process of replacing it’s inventory of gurneys
with all X-frame gurneys. A combination of the new Hydraulic
"Power-Pro" gurneys and the improved MX-Pro R3 series will greatly
improve patient safety and employee injury by only requiring training for one
type of gurney. By no longer using 5 different makes and models of gurney, as in
past years, the challenges of such training efforts will make the potential of
‘operator error’ a thing of the past.
The
company hhers for the type of work we do on a daily basis.
We

the end of the month.

Company Profile
AmeriCare Ambulance is a dba of AmeriCare MedServices, Inc.
It is also integrated with our AmeriCare Fire & EMS Section. The
company was incorporated in 1996 with the concept of providing the 'good
old fashion ambulance service'. The owner's concept is to provide the best
service in a fast professional manner. The three C's of AmeriCare
were developed and each member of the AmeriCare team are expected to
always live up to them.
The three C's include: "Caring...Compassion...Courtesy". This
concept is given to our patients, fire/police agencies, facilities, the general
public, and our employees.
The company started out with two ambulances in Orange County in 1996
and the high quality of service quickly was embraced by nursing
facilities, hospitals, fire, and police alike. Within less than two
years the company had increased it's fleet of vehicles to over 20
ambulances.
Today, AmeriCare Ambulance has a fleet of over 50 ambulances, 12 wheel
chair vans, and 3 Field Support Vehicles serving 4 Southern California
counties.
